Based on the principles of Aroma Freedom Technique and Heart coherence, we will dive deep into each of the six pillars of Self Love to help you clear the emotional blocks that are holding you back from living the life you are meant to live.

Self Acceptance

The ability to love yourself unconditionally, no matter what flaws and traits exist. This is the base of Self Love.

Self Care starts with the recognition that we are responsible for our health, happiness and wellness.

Self Confidence

is the understanding that you trust your own judgment and ability and that you value yourself and feel worthy, regardless of any imperfections or what other people may believe about you.

Self Esteem/Self Worth

Am I worth it? Am I enough? Do I deserve to be happy? How do I feel about my accomplishments and my identity?

Self Forgiveness

This is a big one. Have you let go of any actions or inactions that you still regret? Do you criticize yourself for past mistakes? Are you free to move forward?

Self Expression

Do you express yourself openly and sincerely? Are you willing to be seen? Do I let my life be an expression of my deepest values?

Our NEW Stress Relief Series with Heart, Breath and Scent

In this NEW 5-week experiential workshop series, we will explore various types of stress related issues, and how we can use simple, proven science-based tools and techniques to teach you how to relieve your stress and shift into more harmonious coherent emotions anywhere, on your own and on the go. 

Transforming Emotions

Learn of the value and purpose of our emotions and how to work with them to support us, as they provide us with clues along the journey of life.

Transforming Anxiety

In this self-therapeutic experiential workshop, we learn the physiology of anxiety and our fight / flight / freeze / fawn system and how the science behind the EMDR-based Aroma Freedom and Heart Coherence Breathing techniques work to calm and regulate our nervous system.

Transforming Worry

Current world events, past personal experiences and fear of the unknown often contribute to a sense of worry. In this self-therapeutic experiential workshop, we learn the reasons why we worry and how worry impacts our physiology and our ability to move forward in life.

Support your child's Resilience

In this experiential workshop, discover the tools to teach your child or grandchild simple, easy to learn methods that help them access inner resources to soothe themselves into positive emotions and resilient inner strength.

In this self-therapeutic experiential workshop, we look at change and loss from the perspective of emotional healing and renewal.

The Story of Heart Breath and Scent

Heart Breath and Scent with Renate and Renata was formed in Spring, 2021 as a collaborative venture of two like-minded friends who’ve joined together to integrate the therapeutic benefits of the EMDR-based Aroma Freedom Technique and HeartMath® heart coherence breathing, two gentle yet powerfully effective mind / body healing techniques they are certified to coach and instruct. The name Heart Breath and Scent emerged from the felt understanding that our Breath bridges us both to the wisdom, intuition and healing power of our Heart, and to Scent, the direct catalyzing conduit to our brain’s amygdala (fight or flight center) where it safely and gently calms and dissolves the difficult stuck emotions related to traumatic memories.

Renate Terpstra is a Certified Aroma Freedom Technique Practitioner living in Vernon, British Columbia and Renata Crescenzo is a HeartMath@ Certified Trainer and Transformational Coach in Jupiter, Florida. Though as diametrically far apart in distance on the North American continent as possible, Renate and Renata are fully united in their heart passion for personal transformation, which is the meaning of their shared name.

Renate and Renata met in winter 2020 in one of the Zoom break-out groups of one of the Coherence Hotspot Hearts Unify calls, which had migrated from local in-person meetings to this global online platform as a result of the covid lockdowns. Coherence Hotspot is a HeartMath endorsed global Initiative of its founder Dirk Terpstra, Renate’s husband, a trauma therapist and fellow HeartMath Trainer, whose mission is to bring social and global coherence to the planet. In their breakout room conversation, they discovered common interests and Renate invited Renata to experience an Aroma Freedom workshop. Renata was so impressed with its fast and effective results that she continued to join her sessions, eventually suggesting a collaboration of Renata’s HeartMath work with Renate’s work with Aroma Freedom.

Renate and Renata now create and teach experiential, transformational workshops to help individuals clear emotional blocks and transform their energy states to help align them to the abundant fulfilling futures we are meant to live, applying these science-based modalities with the gentle, calming trauma relieving properties of the “6 Scents” Essential Oils.
